I don't usually waste my time leaving comments about home appliances. But this was the biggest piece of junk I ever bought. On first run it sounded like a jet plane engine shooting over the house. Then quickly stopped. This kept on about 3 times in the first minute. I never felt any cold air coming from this unit. Also, I had a smaller Haier unit running in a different window and it produced black mold throughout the house because of poor drainage. Stay away from Haier products because the proof is written all over the internet that they are nothing but junk. I picked up a GE air conditioner for the same price and it does a great job.
